Terrific Teddi highlights today include a decidedly well fed woodchuck, tidily trimmed tree hydrangeas, and Lake’s sun-soaked siestas.
Let’s start with this snapshot that mine a few Christoph captured at end of day when he witnessed one very well fed snacking in the new “ice garden” that Teddi has been diligently designing and maintaining over the last month.
We are long committed to an abundance philosophy when it comes to gardening and orcharding, but… Wow! When opportunity knocked, this chubby ‘chuck took full advantage.
Thank you,Teddi, for offering up a veritable smorgasbord for these cute, but vexing neighbors.
And thanks, too, for taking a first swipe at our tree hydrangeas (Hydrangea paniculata) that flank Rosslyn’s street facing façade. I know you’re still planning to tackle a little bit of the top side with a step ladder, but his beauties are looking better than ever. Many thanks!
Now onto that contented canine, Lake. Teddi’s dog, accompanying her to work, has made suntanning into a full time occupation.
Whether on the stone cobbles or the garapa decking (of the icehouse), Lake’s stress-free disposition lends the perfect counterpoint to Teddi’s industrious gardening. Now if he could just discourage the woodchuck from buffet-ing on our flowers..
What do you think?
