It’s time to tip my seasonal chapeau to Teddi’s Octobering arrangement now welcoming visitors and passersby to our front entrance. Such capricious creativity her Kit+Syl Studio confers upon Rosslyn season after season!
Once upon a time, it was her weekly floral arrangements that brought beauty and a sense of whimsical wonder to our tabletops and kitchen island. From her door-to-door floral subscription to garden design and seasonal outdoor arrangements, she’s become a vital and much loved member of Team Rosslyn.
And her floral embellishments speak for themselves. Just look at Teddi’s Octobering display cresting the limestone stairway. From blooms to pumpkins, and moss to Hubbard squash, she’s conjured a rustic harvest display that cleverly captures both an understated North Country charm and our hyperlocal agricultural ethos. Bravo!
Installed yesterday, the first day of this transitional month, Teddi’s floral, agricultural, and wild foraged arrangement hums Octobering as much as the fall foliage beginning to blush, the sweet tart kiss of fresh cider squeezed from orchard apples, and the celestial V’s of Canada geese transiting.
Thank you, Teddi, for continually evolving artistic and industrious contributions to Rosslyn and to us. You’ve become an indispensable collaborator in all things floral, and we’re profoundly grateful. Cheers for Teddi’s Octobering!
