Sunday snow arriving, or so we are told. Possibly 10-12” of March powder. Or mashed potatoes. Or something in between. If meteorologists are correct, we’ll be creating fresh cross-country ski tracks in the days ahead.

Daffodils (and even peony spouts) have begun to poke their precocious pates free of the still-chill earth. And yet winter’s lingering presence is preparing to remind us that swimming and gardening are still future tense. In the present, perhaps, a few laps on Rosslyn’s cross-country ski tracks?
